Understanding Day Progression

Quarantine Zone is structured around a day-based progression system. Each day brings new challenges, tools, and symptoms to identify. The game starts simple and gradually increases in complexity.

Days 1-3

Tutorial Phase

Day 1First Day

Tutorial begins. Learn basic inspection with flashlight. Simple survivors with obvious symptoms.

Day 2Temperature Check

Thermopulsometer unlocks. Can now check temperature and pulse rate. New symptoms appear.

Day 3UV Detection

UV Light becomes available. Can detect blood stains and hidden marks. More complex cases.

Days 4-9

Lab Phase

Day 4-5Lab Tutorial

Laboratory unlocks. Can research unknown symptoms. First evacuation quota on Day 5.

Day 6-7Demo Ending

Demo version ends at Day 7. Full game continues with more challenges.

Day 8-9Advanced Symptoms

More lab-required symptoms appear. X-Ray symptoms become more common.

Days 10-15

Mid Game

Day 10Second Quota

Second evacuation quota. Zombie cage becomes mandatory after this point.

Day 11-14Drone Defense

Drone defense mini-game activates. Must protect facility from zombie attacks.

Day 15Third Quota

Third evacuation quota. Difficulty increases significantly.

Days 16-26

Late Game

Day 16-20High Stakes

Multiple symptoms per survivor. Time pressure increases. Every decision matters.

Day 21Fourth Quota

Fourth evacuation quota. Very high survivor requirements.

Day 26Final Day

Campaign finale. Final evacuation quota. Complete the mission to win.

Tool Unlock Schedule

Tools unlock progressively as you progress through the days. Here's when each tool becomes available.

Flashlight

Day 1

Basic inspection tool. Reveals visible symptoms in dark areas.

Thermopulsometer

Day 2

Checks temperature and pulse. Essential for detecting fever and cardiac irregularities.

UV Light

Day 3

Reveals blood stains, hidden marks, and UV-reactive symptoms.

Laboratory

Day 4-5

Research station for unlocking unknown symptoms. Critical for later game.

X-Ray Scanner

Later Days

Detects internal symptoms. Requires lab research to identify findings.

Zombie Cage

After Day 10

Containment area for infected. Mandatory in later stages.

Evacuation Quotas

Evacuation quotas are critical checkpoints where you must meet survivor requirements. Missing a quota severely impacts your reputation.

First checkpoint. Relatively low survivor requirement. Establish good habits early.

Medium

Second Quota

Mid-game checkpoint. Higher requirements. Zombie cage becomes mandatory after this.
